We believe every person deserves comfort, dignity, and peace—no matter where they are in life’s journey. Our commitment to that mission led to the creation of our standalone inpatient hospice unit in Flossmoor, Illinois. House of Goshen is designed to be a home of its own: a place of refuge and compassionate care for when symptoms become too difficult to manage in a traditional setting.

For us, "Goshen" is more than a name. In the Bible, Goshen was a land where the Israelites found safety during their time in Egypt. It was a place set apart—a haven of protection and abundance amid hardship. In Hebrew, Goshen is also associated with the phrase “to draw near,” reflecting our hope that our home becomes a place where God’s presence and provision is felt and experienced.

Ultimately, that is the heart behind the House of Goshen—a sanctuary where patients and families can draw near to one another in an atmosphere of peace.
